session 1 — 60 Mins | Individual

Experience

Right away, you’ll learn one of the most transformative skills you’ll ever experience. 

You and I will sit together, 1:1. I’ll introduce you to this practice, and demonstrate how it has been refined and maintained over centuries. You’ll then settle in to receive your personal mantra, the cornerstone of what makes this technique so profoundly beneficial, and distinct from other styles of meditation.

When we say mantra, we’re not talking about a power-of-positive-thought affirmation. We’re talking about a resonant sound that has been identified to take you beyond thought, and to allow calm, perspective and transcendence to take root in your mind and body.

By the time you leave this session, you’re meditating like you never have before. But you’re not done just yet, because this practice is about much more than a mantra …

SESSION 2 — 90 Mins | Group 

Implement

Today we get together with the others on your course, and get conversational about keeping your meditation sweet. We’ll discuss the simple steps to ensure you have a practice that works, every day, in your own space with only your mantra and your new skills for guidance.

We talk about what it feels like inside of our practice, and how your meditation allows your mind to transcend thought simply by delegating to the body’s organic wisdom. We all have it. Promise. And the purpose of this course is to help you rediscover and harness it. By unharnessing it. Wait. What?

We have a lot of unlearning to do. So much of your new practice is about contravening some of the rules we learn as responsible, ambitious adults. And the paradox is, it makes us more responsible, better examples of high performance and achievement. And happier.

Sessions 2-4 of this course are much more about unlearning unhelpful things than they are about anything else.

SESSION 3  — 90 mins | group

Integrate

Strap in for a serious dive into the mind-body mechanics at play during your meditation. This is where we get really crunchy, about what precisely is going on in your body. It’s the best.

  • Why are you having the experiences you are?

  • Why are those experiences a symptom of success? 

  • How exactly does this type of meditation lift your baseline level of perspective and calm?

  • Why aren’t each of your meditations the same?

  • Why do you become less stressed over time?

  • How exactly does meditating help you make better choices?

  • Why is it so good for your body?

  • Why can’t you consistently just go black in the mind when meditating?

In our last session we discuss what’s next for you — the strong and subtle shifts you can expect in your experience of the world, now that you’ve mastered meditation. 

We’ll talk about some of the psychological experiences that influence your days, which you’ll now get to encounter differently. And about how this practice is going to bring change to your daily life, your interpersonal relationships, and most importantly, your relationship with yourself

By the end of this session, you’ll have a new skill for life that will deliver you genuinely priceless benefits, forming the foundation of a joyful, high-functioning life, outside of your moments in meditation. Because you don’t meditate for a tiny oasis of peace amidst a tense day, you meditate to dissolve that tension altogether, with the peace you now carry, 24/7.
