It’s 2013.
I’m having my mind blown in a meditation course, after just tagging along with my husband, because his CFO put him there.
That CFO’s name was Craig, and he knew the power of a single worker bee, showing up better and contributing more. He knew the latent value in the untapped human potential that he observed. Despite being Mr Money, Craig also knew that none of us can live up to that potential if we’re getting by without peace, and a sense of our true selves.
It was never meant to be about me, but it changed my life anyway.
So I adopted the mission of sharing this technique with every leader that I can, so that they can create the ripple effect that Craig did. I want the people at the top in any arena to inspire their crew to expect better and feel better, while they give it everything, at work and at home.
Hi I’m Anna
I teach you to meditate and help you build other supportive habits. Then, I continue my enduring search for the next piece of wisdom that’s going to influence positive change in your life.
And I love it.
I work with people at the helm
Leaders in businesses, cultures and households.
People who others depend on for
direction, compassion, insight, fortitude and inspiration.
Every. Single. Day.
These are people who want to:
Act with greater insight
Spot opportunities sooner
Be more decisive
Make better choices
Take risks without fear
Be more adaptable
Cultivate fortitude
Know their deepest needs
Feel serene amongst chaos
Know what to do next
People like you.
See what others can’t
This. Knowing. Is the real holy grail.
Be more bold! More courageous!
It’s easy, and fun.
And it’s built on a foundation of ancient, proven, global wisdom. These are practices that have served humankind for thousands of years, or that behavioural economists, psychologists and social scientists are just beginning to wrap their thinking-gear around.
So, why you?
Because you’re a curious person, a sky’s-the-limit boss of aspiration, and you know that in order for great things to happen, we need to make great change. And that change starts with us.
And because you have stuff to do! Ambitious stuff, or exhausting stuff. Probably both.
And because you already know that meditation is the thing that gives edge-having people that edge, and you want to be one of them.
Why me?
Because I’m the one who is always searching for better. My whole thing in life is to assemble and systemise the abundant wisdom we have on human fulfilment, so we can all grow to be great and feel great.
These ideas are not my own. They’re much, much better than my ideas. This program of meditation and its accompanying concepts are some of the most practical and transformative tools that the sages of the world have ever had to offer.
So, in fact, you’re not getting me.
You’re getting Vyasa, BJ Fogg, Swami Brahmananda Saraswati, Brenè Brown, The 14th Dalai Lama, Marcus Aurelius, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Bessel Van Der Kolk, Priya Parker, Norman E Rosenthal, James Clear, Sadhguru, Adam Grant, Thom Knoles, Arthur C Brooks, Julia Baird, Joseph Jebelli, Robin Wall Kimmerer, and the rest.
Seriously, the best
I’m Anna Wallis.
Once a country kid, called to the big smoke to explore the largest and smallest businesses, and life within a household tribe of four. I’m on a perpetual mission to understand what generates positive change in each of those environments. And I’ve learnt it always starts with the people, and the state of our inner world.
People everywhere know there’s more to their purpose than showing up to hit the numbers or tick the boxes. We’re awakening to the incredible power of the inner work’s contribution to outer accomplishments.
Peace on the inside = Power on the outside.
I want to be a part of that for all of us.
Who am I though?
